Royal Deeside : ActiveAboyne Week

July 21st - July 29th 2007

ActiveAboyne is based in the beautiful area of Aboyne and Mid Deeside. A wide and varied programme has been arranged along with talks and entertainment in the evenings. The programme will enable walkers to explore many well-known walks in the area in the company of experienced guides. The guides will provide information covering the views, history and wildlife. Walks are graded moderate and strenuous. Professional mountain guides or Countryside Rangers lead the activities with assistance from local volunteers.

ActiveAboyne is a celebration of all that is good in the active outdoors. The activities are varied and suitable for a range of ages and abilities. You can be assured of breathtaking scenery and a quality service from activity providers, retailers and accommodation providers. As well as the activities listed within this programme, the area offers trout fishing, pony trekking, gliding, and golf courses in abundance.
