Royal Deeside : Crathes Village

Crathes is a vibrant but diffuse community situate approximately 4km east of Banchory. Although the village has no real centre, there is a school, village hall, craft village, two restaurants and of course, the world-famous Crathes Castle. There are plans to construct a short stretch of railway linking the craft village to nearby Banchory.

The Crathes website lists many local links and provides information for both residents and visitors.
