All evening events are Free Entry for Walkers. Donations to Mountain Rescue would be welcome
All Walkers are temporary social members of the Golf Club and may use the Clubhouse facilities during the week.
The Supper Room is part of the Victoria and Albert Community Halls.

Saturday 17th May 7 00 pm onwards Supper Room	Registration Register for the Walking Festival. Enjoy a complimentary buffet and a glass of wine or soft drink Meet your guides and old and new friends.
Sunday 18th May 8.30 pm Supper Room	CHANGE!! CHANGE!! Wine tasting and talk. A presentation in conjunction with the Scottish Co-Op. Our local local co-op will get your taste buds going with an introduction to fair-trade Wines DVD show, talk and of course a wee taste or two. Driving not permitted.
Monday 19th May 7.30 for 8.00 pm Station Restaurant Booking required.	Walking Festival Dinner A lovely three course dinner and coffee. This event is exclusively for you and helpers. Cost is £xx and booking is essential.
Tuesday 20th May 8.30 pm Golf Club	Brainteasers and Puzzle Evening. A quiz with a difference. Egg heads can be scrambled! Teams of four, but just come and we will make up teams on the night. Coffee. Tea and Biscuits sponsored by Robbie the Club Caterer. Prizes sponsored by the Golf Club.
Wednesday 21st May	CHANGE!! CHANGE!! Free evening - to enable football fans to watch the European Cup Final
Thursday 22nd May 8.30 pm Supper Room	Mountain Rescue Come and hear about how it is to be involved in Mountain Rescue. Help support these wonderful volunteers you might need them one day. Alan Crichton, who as well as guiding the big walks, is Deputy Leader of Aberdeenshire Mountain Rescue tells it how it is!
Friday 23rd May 8.00 pm Victoria Hall	Walking Festival Ceilidh Your chance to let your hair down to the music of Rob McCombie, Alec Copland will compere and bring you own refreshments.
Any person or group can use the leisure facilities at the Hilton Craigendarroch for a swim or just to relax. The entrance fee is £8.00 per person per visit, but for a group visit, there could be a reduced fee. Please take this programme with you for identification purposes to help the staff charge the agreed fee. For more information, telephone the Leisure Club on 013397 55858.

	The Evening Entertainment programme for 2008 is now ready and is given below. (entertainment) We are also hoping to get permission from Hilton Craigendarroch Hotel for participants to use their swimming pool. Ballater Royal Deeside Walking Festival (formerly Walking Week) is run by Ballater (RD) Ltd 7 Bridge Street, Ballater, Aberdeenshire, Scotland AB35 5PA e-mail info@royal-deeside.org.uk The coordinator for Walking Week is David Horne. Walks are led by experienced walkers, many being professional and others being skilled and knowledgeable local residents. In most of the special areas the local rangers and wardens will be on hand to provide extra help and information.
