Provisional Programme for Victoria Week

August 7th - August 15th 2010

The provisional programme for Ballater Victoria Week 2010 is given below. The programme will be finalised about May. Some of the events will require to be booked - mostly the concerts and safaris. For more details see the Booking and Contact page.

The festival is always packed with things to do and we look forward to meeting old friends and making new ones.

  Victoria Week celebrates the links between Queen Victoria and Royal Deeside. The old station now hosts a replica of her royal carriage. (Open all week)   Many aspects of Victoria Week celebrate aspects of traditional Scottish culture, including pipe bands, highland dancing, and traditional music. (Various events)

  Among the many events during the week is the parade of classic vehicles and tractors and vintage bicycles. (Sunday 8th August)   The 4x4 safaris give the opportunity to visit some 'out of the way' places.Loch Callater is the site for this year's barbecue (Sunday 15th August).
