Ballater Community Enterprise Ltd (or BCE) will be a subsidiary company wholly owned by Ballater (RD) Ltd (or BRD). BRD is a registered Scottish Charity and the subsidiary company will act as its trading arm.

Currently BCE will concentrate on the operation of Ballater Caravan Park which is currently operated by Aberdeenshire Council. This substantial park serves tourists to Royal Deeside and the eastern Cairngorms National Park . BRD is seeking to lease this site under the Community Asset Transfer programme.
