Local Support for People affected by Cancer

CLAN (Cancer Link Aberdeen and North) is a local charity based in Aberdeen, covering the whole of Grampian, Orkney and Shetland. We offer free support services to anyone affected by cancer be it patient, carer or family member.

Our ‘CLAN in the Community’ project, which offers drop-in services at various locations throughout Aberdeenshire, aims to make our services accessible to all. We understand that it can be quite challenging to travel into Aberdeen to access these services.

Our Centre in Ballater, which covers the Upper Deeside area, provides a variety of support services to local communities. These include Drop-in for support and information with our local service coordinators, professional one to one counselling, as well as therapeutic group activities and complementary therapies. Our Charity shop offers local community members volunteering opportunity, working closely with our services coordinators to support and contribute towards the cost of running the support services on offer.
