Sodger Loons", &c., A. Buchan, Prepared from an original booklet of poems in the possession of Ian Smith, Belwade Cottage, Aboyne. The idea put forward by George Smith, Building, Contractor, Dee-Sealladh, Charleston Road, Aboyne. Ian was Water Board Inspector for Deeside, now retired. He is a piper sergeant and teaches piping. George was the builder who built the granite gates on the Aboyne Green in the year 2000. Footnotes for some of the poems are given here |
